SUPPORT FOR INTERNATIONAL PATENT PROTECTION IN ELECTRONICS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

SIP-EIT is an initiative to provide financial support to Technology and MSME’s Startup units for international patent filing to encourage the idea, innovation, experimentation and recognize the values, skills, and capabilities of global IP and with it capturing growth opportunities in ICTE sector.

The Reimbursement will be limited to a total of Rs 15.0 Lakhs per invention or 50% of the total expenses incurred in filing and processing of patent application upto grant whichever is lesser.

Procedure To Apply Online

The procedure to apply online under the scheme is as follows:

Step I)  First of all, go through all the details of the scheme and henceforth make sure you fall into the eligibility criteria.

Step II) Once sure, you can apply.

In order to apply, one needs’ to register and get a Login ID, which would be used in all the further communications that might happen in regards to the same.

Step III) Once you are done with the registration process use your login details to apply for the scheme. But before proceeding to apply online, you ought to make sure that you have read the Guidelines thoroughly and also checked the List of documents to be uploaded during filling up of the online application form.
